How many treats can I feed my pet?

These treats are as guilt-free as you can get. They are free of grains and have no additives or fillers. That said, don't ruin their appetite! Treats are not intended to replace whole meals. Two to three treats per day should be plenty. If you are training your pet (or just like spoiling them) and would like to offer treats more frequently, our treats are easy to break apart to small pieces. That's why it's a favorite at dog shows and with trainers.

Why is grain-free diet important for pets?

If you think about it, our dogs' and cats' ancestors who lived in the wild never baked bread, made rice, or ate corn on the cob. Their bodies weren't designed for that stuff, and grains can trigger medical conditions such as allergies and digestive issues. More and more people are switching their pet's diets to be grain-free, and are noticing a dramatic improvement to their pet's health when they do, such as shiny coat, decreased allergies, healthy skin, increased appetite with picky eaters, increased energy, ease in passing stools and decrease in weight for obese pets.

Where do you source your ingredients?

Our meat treats come from livestock raised humanely on sustainable US ranches in the United States. These livestock live out in the open pastures and eat all-natural, hormone-free food. They are raised by ranchers who believe in doing things the old-fashioned way to offer the best quality meat possible and treating all animals with respect. We work with several of them - from California to Texas - because they don't believe in lowering their quality by raising too many livestock in overcrowded environments. Our Banana & Peanut Butter treats are made with all organic ingredients.

How long do your treats last?

All of our treats are dehydrated, which extends the shelf-life of our treats while maintaining important nutrients that get lost during rapid, high-heat cooking processes. They last 6 months when stored in cool, dry places. Our canisters are convenient for this!

Can I feed your treats to my cat?

Yes, our treats are meant for both dogs and cats. Cats are typically more finicky when being introduced to new food. We recommend getting them started on a flavor they are already used to. For instance, we introduced our own cats to our Charcuterie treats by giving them Chicken Breast because they already enjoyed eating chicken frequently as a meal.

Where can I buy your treats?

Our treats are available at select retail stores across the country. You can also purchase from us online. We use Amazon's secure e-commerce technology and ship from California.

How did you get started?

Our journey started simply with trying to find good, wholesome treats that were not made with mystery ingredients (like edible plastic??) and that my dog wouldn't turn down. We started by looking at the food we eat, and how our views were changing with our own diets. Organic produce, sustainable ranches who raise their livestock humanely. We were becoming more aware and responsible of the food that was going into our bodies, but we weren't progressing on how we fed our pets.

We started working with small ranches to produce dehydrated liver treats to sell at our own retail store and to feed our own pets. The result was that our customers (pets and humans) couldn't get enough of these treats. We started to reach out to other sustainable, quality ranchers in the US to increase our supply, but not decrease the quality of our treats. Our motto is simple - don't sell anything that we wouldn't feed our own pets.
